Healthy, Local, Organic
The Pacific Northwest serves up a bounty of fresh flavors, and Northwest Rafting Company strives to offer our guests a taste of the foods that thrive here. You may think that cooking in the wilderness requires you to miss out on flavor, but our meals will prove you wrong.
Rest assured that the appetites you work up playing outside will be satisfied by three complete meals each day as well as plenty of snacks and appetizers. As you set up your tent, change clothes or relax with a frosty beverage, the guides will begin appetizer and dinner preparation; what could be better than that?

Fresh Focus
Supporting local economies and consuming fresh produce are a way of life in the Northwest and we try to share these themes with our guests by providing food that is healthy, locally sourced and organic whenever possible.
Organic grains and greens complement meals of wild caught salmon or grilled free-range chicken. Fresh berries, peaches, apples and cherries all thrive in Oregon and make baking dutch oven desserts a breeze. Coffee from local roasters, wine from nearby wineries and don't forget the Northwest's famous microbrews; all will leave you thirsty for more.
Special Diets
Don't let your dietary needs keep you from venturing out on a river trip. Just let us know how we can adapt our menu to satifsfy your desires. We can happily accommodate:

Our Trip Registration form has a section devoted to special food needs and our staff can give you an idea of our menus and how we can make them work for you. Each trip has a designated head cook, who will work with you during the trip to make sure we're getting it right. All of our meals include plenty of options, with tested menus that are sure to satisfy.
